Portrait: What makes the Banditti Club special.

The group of fun-loving people who turned night into day in Glasgow's pubs at the beginning of the 19th century as the Banditti Club were delighted with this dedication: The Banditti Club Spiced Rum is handcrafted by the Glasgow Distillery from Rhum Agricole, which is made from freshly pressed sugar cane juice on the island of Madeira distilled. 

After twelve months in oak barrels, the rum base is refined with fresh pineapple, fresh orange and fresh ginger as well as cocoa nibs, allspice, tonka bean, allspice and black pepper.

Rare for its category, the spiced rum unfolds its fruity, spicy taste free of added sugar, coloring or artificial flavors.

The uncomplicated natural product tastes best as a Glasgow Mule with ginger beer or with Fever Tree Madagascan Cola and a fresh slice of lime.
