The Portuguese Collection from Tomatin comprises three bottlings that impressively demonstrate how differently Portuguese wine casks shape the character of a single malt Scotch whisky. Distilled on September 8, 2006, the spirit was first aged for eight years in traditional oak barrels before being transferred to three different casks on April 23, 2015: Tawny Port, Moscatel de Setúbal, and Madeira wine.
After a further seven years of maturation, three exceptional whiskies were created that combine the versatility and elegance of Portuguese wines in a unique tasting experience.

Distinctive aromas of honey and lemon predominate, while flavors of caramel and apple compote emerge on the palate. The finish is sweet and fruity.
