After distillation in 2014, this single malt whisky was first matured in traditional ex-bourbon casks, then it received a two-year finish in ex-Manzanilla sherry butts.
The nose is captivated by aromas of sourdough bread and salted popcorn. On the palate, notes of dried fruits, chamomile tea, grapefruit, maple syrup and salted walnuts unfold. The finish is slightly salty with warm, toasted brown butter notes.
