Best rum qualities from the Dominican Republic Republic, which matured using the Solera process with distillates up to 21 years old, were carefully selected for the Austrian Empire Navy Rum Malt Whisky Cask Finish.
After tropical maturation, the vatting was placed in former Scottish malt whisky casks for almost 16 months.These barrels contained not just any Scottish whisky, but none other than the single malt whisky from the Islay distillery Bunnahabhain!
