The Kilchoman distillery is celebrating its 20th birthday in 2025 and is presenting the Kilchoman 13 year old as an anniversary edition!
This single malt matured for 13 years in a combination of former Bourbon Barrels, Bourbon Octaves and Calvados Casks. The whisky exudes an abundance of juicy-fresh fruits, intense sweetness and waves of maritime peat smoke from Islay.

With the first new distillery on the Isle of Islay in 124 years, founder Anthony Wills pursued a visionary goal that today represents the uniqueness of Kilchoman and its exceptional Islay Single Malts.
Encompassed by the rough beauty of the island landscape with its wide white sandy beaches and mighty cliffs, the original craftsmanship of “farm distilling” has been revived. The very fertile soils around the municipality of Kilchoman are used for growing barley and the quality of the incomparable Islay peat, which is influenced by the Atlantic. Anthony Wills made his lifelong dream come true: With the 100% Islay Range, Kilchoman stands for the only Islay Single Malt Whisky, which is produced “From Barley to Bottle” locally.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Kilchoman 13 year old tastes like

• Nose: fruity, fragrant with tangy aromas of fresh pineapple, hibiscus and lemon sorbet - rich peat smoke above all
• Palate: mouth-filling with pleasant herbal notes, followed by dried apple muesli - then follow Hints of caramelized puffed wheat and buttered popcorn - maritime peat smoke accompanies the flavor notes
• Finish: long in the finish - surprisingly light and graceful with a piquant freshness of orchard fruits
