Four Roses produces with The Small Batch is not a mass-produced product, but a special drink with an individual character. 
From a large selection, you choose the perfect four combinations of yeast and grain, which make your Small Batch Whiskey a unique. 
For this, the distillery selects yeast strains and a grain recipe that results in a straight Bourbon with special characteristics: rye and spicy spices, strong fruit aromas and sweet vanilla. The Four Roses Small Batch already has what many whiskeys only get through barrel storage. This leaves time and space to explore new aromas and flavors through maturation in new, burned-out barrels. 

The Four Roses Distillery uses four yeast-grain combinations for this whiskey. So on the one hand they use a recipe based on spicy rye, on the other there is a recipe with fine corn. Four Roses combines this with two different types of yeast. Subtle spice, fine caramel notes and strong aromas of fruit and vanilla are the result in the whiskey glass. This combination is unique and sophisticated. 
Four Roses only uses whiskeys between 12 and 20 years old to create it.
