This bottling is the best Antigua Rum, which matured in carefully selected former Bourbon Casks.
The high concentration Congeners give the rum both extraordinary full-bodiedness and multi-faceted intensity, which make it unmistakable in its aroma structure.

The "Congener Series" isa limited rangewhich was selected and bottled exclusively by and for the company HAROMEX Development GmbH directly in the cellars of the Antigua Distillers company.

As always with the products of the brand English Harbour this is also a small batch range, which was bottled without cold filtration. 

As a "Straight from the Cask" bottlingthe high alcohol content reinforces the authenticity and purity of the distillate and has a unique and fine Structure on.

The almost 10-year-old English Harbor High Congener Series 2nd Release immediately impresses with its intense amber color.
It is very interesting on the nose, as it reveals the wide range of rums that blended harmoniously with each other during its maturation phase. 

This exceptional rum develops its full potential in a cozy atmosphere, for example by an open fire, paired with high-quality, good hard cheese served with fruit and honey.

Tasting Notes: This is how the English Harbor High Congener Series 2nd Release 2014/2023 tastes like

• Nose: at the beginning there are aromas that are reminiscent of sage and some paprika, followed by aromas of wonderful brown sugar, hay, cashews, raisins and spices such as cloves and cinnamon - after a short time and some rest the rum opens up further and reveals fruity accents Figs, dates and red apples, rounded off by spicy nuances of licorice and black pepper - a drop of water releases additional aromas of dark chocolate and coffee
• Palate: on the palate, the rum presents itself with a waxy mouthfeel, which is perfectly balanced by the 62% alcohol content - the aromas perceived on the nose are retained and continue to develop: black cherries, plums and recurring notes of raisins and Cloves emerge
• Finish: the finish brings with it a wonderful hint of cigar box, tobacco and leather - a truly incomparable pleasure
