From a small delicatessen toglobal whisky great: Gordon & MacPhail has stood for exclusive Scotch rarities - for over 125 years. Founded in 1895 by James Gordon and John Alexander MacPhail, the business was taken over by their employee John Urquhart. When he first bought his own barrels to have them filled at renowned distilleries, he would change the whisky business forever.

The consequences? Can still be felt on gourmet palates today. This is also proven by a new Single Cask for the German market in January 2025. The Clynelish 2009/2024 is a characterful and delicious insider tip from near the coastal town of Brora. 

One of the “key malts” in Johnnie Walker Blended Scotch spent 15 years in a single Refill Sherry Hogshead. Anyone who gets hold of one of the 249 bottles will be invited to a cake with hazelnuts, raisins and chocolate by bright fruit notes and orange jam with a hint of spice goodbye.
