Tasting Notes: This is how the Big Peat Red Wine Edition tastes like
- Nose: initially soft peat smoke, then increasingly intense becoming fruity aromas of dark cherries and berries, light malt aromas in the background, plus soft fudge and a hint of vanilla
- Palate: noticeably fruitier in taste - the ripe cherries again, too There are notes of dark chocolate and cocoa beans, followed by spicier tones, tobacco leaves can also be seen - there is a rich, soft peat smoke over everything
