Tasting Notes: This is how the Bowmore 18 year old Sherry Oak Cask tastes like

  • Nose: Aromas of strong dark chocolate and fresh ground cocoa beans, then toffee syrup and date oil, plus fresh orange peel and fresh pineapple - above all strong peat aromas
  • Palate: mouth-filling with notes bittersweet orange peel and juicy raisins - followed by anise seeds and cocoa beans
  • Finish: very fruity in the long finish with great depth and complexity
