The Arran 15 year old Rare Batch - Peated-Sherry Butts matured exclusively in Peated-Sherry Butts.
After a proud 15 years of maturation without chill filtration and without the addition of colorings filled in only 4,024 bottles.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Arran 15 year old Rare Batch - Peated-Sherry Butts tastes like

  • Nose: at the beginning the Arran-typical aromas of ripe citrus fruits, brown cane sugar and slightly spicy hints of oak and leather - there is a thicker air above everything Peat fire smoke
  • Palate: surprisingly soft and mouth-filling - the spicy notes come to the fore, now more clearly the spicy oak wood, plus exotic spices - in the background the ripe citrus fruits
  • Finish: long and smoky in the finish - initially freshly cut oak, then the peaty smokiness becomes more and more present
