Once a small delicatessen, Gordon & MacPhail is now one of the international experts in the maturation of special Scotch whiskies. The company has been family-owned for four generations and has combined its own Casks with distillates from over 100 Scottish distilleries.

In more than 125 years the independent bottler has become so earned one or two privileges - such as being able to use the retro labels of some of Scotland's most popular distilleries for their bottlings.

The Strathisla 2009/2024 was bottled with the distillery's original logo. Strathisla, one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, produces the majority of Chivas Regal blends. This find provides a rare independent perspective on the picturesque Speyside distillery, letting ginger meet sweet cherry, floral and mint notes.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Strathisla 2009/2024 Gordon & MacPhail tastes like

• Nose: fresh spicy aromas of garden herbs and fresh ginger, followed by ripe stone fruit and mild honey
• Palate: soft and round in taste with clear notes of ripe cherries and candied violets - above all again the herbs, especially fresh garden mint
• Finish: long, soft finish with lots of fruit - the Spicy tones are present but fade into the background
