The Springbank 10 year old Amontillado Cask Matured first matured for five years in refilled exBourbon barrels and then for another five years in first-filled Amontillado-Sherry Hogsheads.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Springbank 10 year old Amontillado Cask Matured tastes like

  • Nose: rustic earthy aromas, then hazelnuts and maraschino cherries - in the background juicy blood oranges
  • Palate: smoked sausages, with hints of gorse and an open cigar box with sweet notes of coconut and syrup
  • Finish: dry on the finish - now spicier with fresh wood chips and tarragon
