Portrait: What makes the Chateau de Ribebon - The Lost Cask - Bordeaux 2019 Superieur AOC special

The Lost Cask - the label of the bottle shows a historical image from 1773 showing the port of Bordeaux. Floating in the water you quickly discover an abandoned Cask, known as a “Tonneau Perdu” (“Lost Cask” or in German “verlorenes Faß”), it immediately attracts everyone’s attention yourself.
In the middle of the Garonne, which is dotted with sailing ships and the elegant houses of the Bordeaux wine merchants, there is floating in the water. But what does that mean? Nimble Cask pirates back then quickly fished such lost Casks out of the water, put them on bottles, labeled them and delivered them to their wealthy customers
