Vintage whiskies from a closed distillery, single malts from rare individual Casks - Andrew Symington feels exclusive Scotch whiskies for his bottlings on. More than 10,000 Hogsheads, Butts and Co. are stored in the warehouses of the independent bottler. 

The Port Dundas 14 year old from the two 2nd-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts #585869 & #585874 is a rare Single Grain Whisky from the Lowland distillery, which has been closed since 2010.
Distilled on August 6th, 2008, the two butts matured for over 14 years, then the Butts were blended together and bottled in May 2023.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Port Dundas 14 year old 2nd-fill Oloroso Sherry Butts #585869 & #585874 Vintage Signatory tastes like

  • Nose: clearly spicy oak and some vanilla, then aromas of freshly baked pancakes with maple syrup
  • Palate: spicy at the beginning, with notes of grain and above all roasted nuts
  • Finish: becoming fruitier in the medium-long finish, especially fresh and ripe pineapple Citrus fruits are present
