So varied like its long history (the distillery once belonged to the New York Mafia, for example) is the portfolio of the Edradour Distillery. Led by Signatory Vintage founder Andrew Symington, the independent Highland distillery produces handmade premium single malt using equipment from the 19th century - some with varied finishes or made from malt with at least 50 ppm smoke content - the peaty-smoky variants always go under the name Ballechin.

The Ballechin 15 year old Huelva Orange Wine Cask Finish demonstrates the harmony of peat smoke and fruit. The “heavily peated” single malt matured for 26 months in Casks that previously contained orange wine from the Andalusian province of Huelva.
