Limited Christmas bottling aged 10 years.

The elegant single malt whisky matured in three former Oloroso Sherry Butts.
The yield from the three Butts was divided into a total of 1,660 bottles - in traditional 0.7l bottles and in 0.35l bottles.
Both bottlings have different Christmas motifs on the labels and together form a festive pair.
The 0.7l bottle comes in the Wolfburn standard packaging with viewing window - the small 0.35l bottle without packaging.

A total of only 1,660 bottles (0.35l & 0.7l) were filled

Since January 25, 2011, the young Wolfburn Distillery Single Malt Whisky distilled .
Highly qualified staff and the most modern distilling technology have ensured that only the best possible New Make spirit flows from the stills. Wolfburn Whisky is produced in a traditional way - by hand, without haste and with the greatest possible attention to quality. The mild, soft and fruity character of the single malt is due to the type of production - long fermentation and gentle slow distillation.

The maturation takes place exclusively on site in so-called dunnage warehouses (lying storage of the Casks and open ground for high humidity) a few 100 meters from the coast.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Wolfburn 10 year old - Merry Christmas & a happy new year tastes like

• Nose: at the beginning a mix of sweet aromas and fresh sea air, then follows the scent of juicy dried fruits and lots of chocolate - in the background you can find freshness Citrus fruits and ripe grains, over all sweet sherry
• Palate: mouth-filling, almost a sticky sweetness of dates and raisins, then traces of freshly ground cinnamon and honey - a wonderful taste of classic Christmas Cake - what else?!
• Finish: the soft, sweet tones gradually disappear, leaving a lingering hint of demerara sugar and soft caramel at the very end
