For everyone When bottling The Balvenie Single Barrel, malt master Kelsey McKechnie hand-selects only the highest quality ex-Bourbon Barrels, which are then carefully bottled in Speyside. These former Bourbon Barrels give the 12-year-aged single Barrel Whisky the characteristic The Balvenie distillery style, which impresses with its honey notes.
The Balvenie Single Barrel is considered “The Balvenie” in its purest form, before any further maturation (cask finishing).
Each individual Cask produces no more than 300 bottles, with each bottle individually linked to the Cask and the bottle is numbered. Despite using the same wood, each Cask is unique.
