Portrait: What makes the Malteco 20 year old with 2 glasses special

A fine Rum from Panama, distilled from sugar cane juice, stored in former Bourbon-Barrels.
Distilled in Bodegas de America SA in Panama.
Fresh sugarcane juice from specially selected sugarcane plantations, high-quality yeast and exclusive, old recipes, coupled with the know-how of the master blender, are the basis for this excellent rum.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Malteco tastes 20 year old

  • Nose: sweet-spicy aromas of spices and tobacco, plus roasted oak
  • Palate: soft and mouth-filling in taste - clearly dried fruits, vanilla and dark chocolate
  • Finish: long and fruity in the finish - plus the tobacco and spice again
