Glen Scotia is one of the last distilleries in Scotland's former whisky capital Campbeltown the Scottish Kintyre Peninsula.
For the first time, the distillery presents a single cask bottling from one of the rare Pedro Ximénez Sherry Casks stored in the distillery's legendary Dunnage Warehouses with the blue gates.
Bottled exclusively for Germany for the 50th anniversary of the German importer.
There were just 648 bottles of the 2nd-fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butt #3392 here to pamper fans of the legendary Campbeltown distillery.

Distilled in 2016, the Glen Scotia 100% PX Sherry Butt #3392 matured exclusively in the Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butt for eight years.
Bottled in 2024 with a strong alcohol content of 60%vol. without the addition of dyes and without chill filtration.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Glen Scotia 100% PX Sherry Butt #3392 tastes like

• Nose: robust aromas of moist hemp rope and with bitumen-enriched top cork - then rich aromas of dried fruits and some dust and dry oak in the background - very nicely balanced
• Palate: full in taste - you can recognize the typical Campbeltown tone - full notes of raisins, tobacco leaves and caramelized muscovado sugar, plus sweet, dried figs and clear earthy notes
• Finish: very long finish with hints of sweet molasses and spicy oak
