On the occasion of the 15. On the anniversary of the popular Islay Blended Malt Whisky, Douglas Laing is releasing this unique special edition. With an alcohol content of 50%vol. Bottled, the limited Big Peat 15th Anniversary Edition matured mainly in hand-picked red wine barrels, which give the smoky Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whiskey its unique touch.
Thanks Due to the special barrel maturation, Big Peat fans can look forward to a warm smoke aroma with earthy notes, surrounded by wild berries and vanilla. On the palate you can find toffee, dark chocolate and some nuts, followed by a long, full-bodied finish with lots of peat smoke and a certain spice.
This edition replaces the Christmas Edition in 2024 and brings a breath of fresh air the peaty whiskey world!
