This 15-year-old Speyside malt is based on the Sherry -Production known solera process is first stored in three different types of Casks before they are all blended together in a Solera Cask.
Only half of this Solera Cask is bottled, the other half remains in the Cask and is refilled with a new batch.
Founded in 1886, the world-famous distillery from Speyside in Scotland is still owned by the Grant family today - now in its fifth generation.
In the Valley of the Stag (Gaelic : Glenfiddich), the first distillate flowed from the still at Christmas 1887.
Tasting Notes: This is how the Glenfiddich 15 year old Limited Edition tastes like
- Nose: spicy aromas, honey and ripe fruits, some cloves
- Palate: full body, very fruity, vanilla notes and spices again, very soft
- Finish: long finish, the vanilla and some oak come back
