Black Coral is a rare species of coralthat lives deep in the waters around the West Indies and Central America occurs. It is a product of the fertile environment, which also supplies the sugar cane plants for the Black Gem Collection with nutrients and minerals. 
Black Coral is mainly due to appreciated for their unique color and elegant appearance. Properly polished, the black coral acquires a beautiful shine and shimmer.

Just like a glass of A.H. Riise Black Coral served in a glossy tulip glass.Each batch, each bottle is a true jewel,Provided with a number to document its uniqueness and rarity. A.H. Riise Black Coral has an alcohol content of 45.8%vol. and is available in a limited number of 5,990 numbered bottles, an ideal collector's item.

Tasting Notes: This is how the A.H. Riise Black Coral - Black Gem Collection tastes like

  • Nose: subtle, seductive aromas of dried fruits, followed by hints of fresh hay
  • Palate: the soft umami of the oak is in the foreground, followed by roasted hazelnuts and dried stone fruits - in the background a very subtle hint of tobacco
  • Finish: long-lasting Finish - spicy oak and gentle tannins, dried fruit peels and volatile spices
