“The Trinity Vintage Series” brings together the three key elements that have made Glenfarclas unique and an icon among Scotland’s distilleries worldwide. The series begins with the Glenfarclas 2012 “The Sherry Casks” The Trinity Vintage Series No. 1, which 100% matured in Oloroso Sherry Casks and represents the commitment to tradition and craftsmanship of Glenfarclas.

The Trinity Vintage Series reflects the three key elements for the complex aromatic diversity of the Glenfarclas distillery: the 100% maturation of the single malt whiskies in precious Oloroso sherry casks, the preserved traditional distillation methods the "direct fired stills" and the storage of the single malt in the famous, cool "Dunnage Warehouses".

With the first edition Glenfarclas 2012 “The Sherry Casks” The Trinity Vintage Series No. 1 the single malt matured for years in the most precious Oloroso sherry casks, in which it developed its unmistakable depth and elegance The result of this careful maturation is a premium single malt Scotch whisky, uncolored and without chill filtration, with complex sherry aromas, Demerara sugar and fine notes of chocolate and preserved fruit.

The “Trinity Vintage Series” started in fall 2024 with this first edition, the second edition will be called “The Direct Fired Stills”. These traditional, direct-fired stills are the heart of the Glenfarclas distillery. The direct flame ensures the incomparable mild-fruity Speyside character of the Glenfarclas single malt.

The third and final part of the series represents“The Dunnage Warehouses ”. The historic Dunnage Warehouses, with their cool, damp conditions and distinctive red doors, provide the perfect environment for the slow and steady maturation of the single malt.
