In the Signatory 100 Proof Edition it's not just high percentages that meet low prices. With the Exceptional Casks, connoisseurs will find affordable bottlings that have matured for a long time. Three new price-performance tips from Sherry casks are now available.
 
The Linkwood 2006 Exceptional Cask benefited from Oloroso- as well as Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The effect: a delight characterized by peaches, honey, raisins and oak spices.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Linkwood 2006 Exceptional Cask 100 Proof Edition #6 Signatory Vintage tastes like

  • Nose: warm pastries and crème brulée, then intense aromas of ripe peaches and juicy raisins - above all soft honey and spicy oak
  • Palate: again the peaches and honey, with fresh herbs, some oak - then notes of tropical fruits develop with creamy vanilla
  • Finish: long finish - now nutty notes and significantly more spice, the raisins and honey are also present
