The Highland stills produce in Scotland's highest stills, whose necks are as high as a giraffe from Glenmorangie a delicate and fruity whisky - which they also like to experiment with. Under the direction of Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation, Glenmorangie enriches the world of single malt with new flavors and possibilities.

A Tale of Ice Cream promises the same effect on whisky lovers, the ice cream on Dr. Bill Lumsden has: He makes you melt. The delights of his favorite ice cream parlor are the one thing the whisky maker can't resist. Inspired by them, he created Glenmorangie's first single malt from casks with a high proportion of vanillin in the wood as well as from bourbon casks.
 
The result encapsulates the sweetest and creamiest flavors of Glenmorangie: soft notes of peach melba, lemon sorbet and vanilla merge with honeycomb and brioche. Coconut flakes and candied apples form the garnish.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Glenmorangie A Tale of Ice Cream tastes like

• Nose: a firework of aromas of Manuka honey, lemon toffee, raisin bread, candied orange peel, peach, caramel candies and some spice - with a little water the scent of vanilla sauce, coconut and a light one unfolds Marzipan note
• Palate: the texture is viscous, lush and creamy - a strong burst of sweet and spicy notes brings to mind brioche, marzipan, honeycomb, toffee, lemon sorbet and coconut flakes - Spices such as cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove warm the mouth
• Finish: a long-lasting finish with hints of candied apples and sweet popcorn as well as a slight aniseed note
