The 14th edition of the Small Batch series takes you to the extreme East of the Scottish Highlands. Designed exclusively for the German market, the series is based on Casks that the German importer selects together with its long-standing partner, the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The unadulterated experience with an increased drinking strength of 48.2%vol. ensures full-bodied enjoyment at a fair price.
Anyone who prefers classic Bourbon maturation will be more than satisfied with the Glen Garioch 12 year old Small Batch Edition #14. The insider tip from Oldmeldrum was distilled from the excellent barley of its homeland and had twelve years to develop notes of vanilla ice cream, orange chocolate and coconut .
 

Tasting Notes: This is what the Glen Garioch 12 year old Small Batch Edition #14 Signatory tastes like

  • Nose: wonderful aromas of fresh orange peel and honey, along with fresh barley and the scent of sweets - above all fragrant coconut and fresh vanilla 
  • Palate: fresh in taste with notes of vanilla ice cream and stronger Orange chocolate, then freshly baked and roasted almonds - in the background the coconut again
  • Finish: rich, long finish with lots of malt and honey - hints of oranges and dark chocolate float above everything
