Designed exclusively for the German market, the series is based on barrels that the German importer selects together with its long-standing partner, the independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The unadulterated experience with an increased drinking strength of 48.2% vol. ensures full-bodied enjoyment at a fair price.
The Secret Speyside (TAM) 11 year old Small Batch Edition #13 takes an independent perspective on a distillery that has been standing still for a long time in its comparatively short history. Their smooth, mild single malt matured for eleven years in first-fill hogsheads that were pre-filled with the top Italian wine Bolgheri.
 

Tasting Notes: This is how the Secret Speyside (TAM) 11 year old Small Batch Edition #13 Signatory tastes like

• Nose: tastes red , ripe apples, then more and more spicy aromas - clearly, cardamom and anise, followed by nutty hints, paired with spicy oak
• Palate: again the apples, with freshly baked bread and apple cake with cinnamon and nuts with vanilla sauce
• Finish: long and sweet in the finish - the apples remain present for a long time - the fresh apples now slowly turn into apple compote with soft, spicy tones
