• Discover the Scarabus Sherry Cask Edition - an exclusive vatting, refined for the first time with 1st-fill sherry casks, some of which were allowed to mature entirely in 1st-fill Oloroso casks. Typical Islay Peat harmonizes with chocolaty sweetness and a fruity finish
• Nose: strong Islay peat smoke paired with the aromas of ripe dark berries and a clear breeze of salty sea spray
• Palate: mouth-filling with warm notes of old leather and a wonderful chocolate sweetness - behind it again the peat smoke and slightly fruity hints
• Finish: long, soft finish - the peat smoke makes some room for the dark fruits, but is just as present as leather, some tobacco and spicy oak

Hunter Laing's exclusive Islay innovations have been refined for the first time with the finest first-filled Sherry casks. The strictly limited Sherry Editions are available in two versions: The Sherry Cask Edition with 46%vol. and the Sherry Batch Strength Edition with 57%vol. The first fill sherry casks give the Islay Single Malt an additional complexity with notes of dark berries, sweet chocolate and a long-lasting and fruity finish .
