In its long history, the Edradour Distillery has experienced both lean and prosperous times: from the original The success story of blended Scotch whisky through to its acquisition by the New York mafia, from its takeover by a major corporation to its welcome return to independent Scottish hands. To this day, Edradour produces handmade insider tips.
 
These include bottlings matured in liqueur and sweet Wine Casks. Oloroso Sherry Butts, for example, refine the Single Malt with dark fruity and nutty tones. The Edradour 12 year old Oloroso Sherry Butts Batch #3 matured exclusively in first- and second-fill Casks from Andalusia. 
Cask strong and bottled without chill filtration or coloring , it unfolds with a full, delicious aroma.
