The 12/12 Pastis de Saint-Tropez is a classic French pastis that actually manages to combine tradition and modernity. 

The unusual bottle design of the 12/12 Pastis de Saint-Tropez was designed by the Saint Tropez artist Quentin Monge. 

Manufactured The very authentic 12/12 Pastis de Saint-Tropez is made in the oldest active distillery in Marseille (founded in 1884), currently run by the Cristal Limiñana family. 

First, star anise is carefully distilled in the column still.
This is followed by a series of macerations of fresh figs, orange blossoms and sweet almonds from the area, together with various botanicals and spices such as licorice and vanilla.  

Hand-harvested plants from the Bay of St.-Tropez, including myrtle and thyme, are also added to the mix.

The best way to enjoy the 12/12 Pastis de Saint-Tropez is on ice, neat, in long drinks or as an aperitif.
