Cape Breton is one of the few places outside of Scotland , where Gaelic culture is lived. In the early 19th century, Scottish emigrants made the Canadian island their home, with its scenic beauty so closely resembling Scotland's mainland and islands. In the pioneers' luggage: Customs and skills from home - such as distilling whisky. Glen Breton is part of their tradition.
 
The Canadian Single Malt Whisky is created in the picturesque Glenora distillery in the province of Nova Scotia. With production starting in 1990, it is the first single malt distillery on the North American continent. Built with the expertise of Bowmore Distillery, it is equipped with Scottish pot stills. In them, the Canadians distill a wide range of award-winning single malts.
 
Core of the range: the Glen Breton 10 year old. The single malt matures in American white Oak Casks in warehouses surrounded by apple trees. In addition to orange, chocolate, hazelnut or cherry, apple is also one of the complex flavors of the whisky.
