As perhaps Scotland's best-known independent bottler, Gordon & MacPhail has had one goal for more than 125 years: Single Malt Scotch Whisky of exceptional quality. 
Among the privileges that are Gordon & MacPhail has developed, the independent bottling of the wonderfully complex distillates is part of the Macallan Distillery - under the name of the distillery. 
The wonderfully complex single malt matured in Oak Cask No. 13603610, which was pre-filled with sherry. The single cask rarity developed a profile of forest fruits, hints of coffee beans and nuts, with ripe oak and raspberry on the finish.

  • Nose: rich aromas of ripe forest fruits, paired with roasted nuts and coffee beans
  • Palate: intense notes ripe raspberries, spicy oak, roasted coffee beans and again the nutty tones
  • Finish: long and full on the finish - now the ripe oak is clearer, the raspberries again - the coffee in the background
