From Islay via the Highlands to Speyside: New editions of the Small Batch series lead across Scotland's most popular whiskey regions. Designed exclusively for the German market, the series is based on Casks that deliver unadulterated experiences with an increased drinking strength of 48.2%vol. and ensure full-bodied enjoyment - lush fruit notes from Oloroso Sherry Casks included.

With the Secret Speyside (M) 12 year old 2011/2024 we take an independent perspective on a tone-setting cult wine. Distillery in the region.
Distilled in 2011, the single malt whiskey matured for over 12 years exclusively in barrels pre-filled with Oloroso Sherry.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Secret Speyside (M) 12 year old Small Batch Edition #11 Signatory tastes like

  • Nose: tastes some menthol, with coffee and pine nuts - above all sweet sherry aromas 

  • Palate: mouth-filling with clear notes of toffee and chocolate, with sherry, crème brulée, toffee apples and toasted oak

  • Finish: soft and elegant in the finish - some buttered brioche, then salty caramel and the sherry again
