Every year the Fèis Ìle Festival is celebrated on the Scottish Whisky island of Islay .
For this occasion, the independent bottler Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers, which has close ties to the island, has created this limited Edition Edition bottled.

The perfect dram to start the summer - full of tropical notes of papaya and campfire embers, layered with grilled pineapple and maritime saltiness, this juicy single reflects Malt Whisky fully reflects the festival atmosphere on the island throughout Fèis Ìle.

The tropical and maritime Mac-Talla Rum Cask - Friends of the Fèis 2024 Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured for over 5 years in Cruzan rum casks. Distillery on St. Croix after hogsheading for 10 years. The Rum was stored in Virgin Oak Casks, so these were only used for Rum before the Mac-Talla Rum Cask - Friends of the Fèis 2024 was filled into these casks, giving the whisky a beautiful, tropical flavor profile.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Mac-Talla Rum Cask - Friends of the Fèis 2024 tastes like

• Nose: gentle peat smoke with a floral glow and fresh fruity aromas
• Palate: tropically fruity and juicy, grilled pineapple and papaya are present, along with subtle campfire embers and some sea salt
• Finish: long, intense finish - now significantly more smoke and a lot of fruit - especially papaya, apricots and pineapple are present - in the background there is a maritime note of salt
