The Big Peat The Thropaigeach Edition - Fèis Ìle 2024 is the limited edition to 5,688 bottles worldwide for the Islay festival Fèis Ìle 2024.
“Thropaigeach” is Gaelic and means “tropical” - and that's exactly what this malt whisky is: Matured in specially selected former Rum Casks, resulting in a wonderful combination of strong and at the same time tropical flavors - a truly tropical version of the well-known Islay malt Big Peat.

Big Peat fans can look forward to an exceptional cask finish, which is characterized by peated malt on the nose before becoming full-bodied on the palate, almost oily notesof flambéed banana, grilled meat and grilled pineapple.

A unique screen-printed design was created for this limited bottling. The bottle shows Big Peat in pirate style, in keeping with the theme of Caribbean Rum Casks. His fans can look forward to a new variation of the well-known character, who is surrounded on the label by palm trees, parrots and swords. When it comes to color, bright yellow colors were used, which round off the overall picture.
