Edradour has not only been around since Andrew Symington took over in 2002, quite high up in the popularity scale of single malt fans.
Some of the genuine whiskies from the distillery, located in the Highlands east of Pitlochry, are still being produced with original equipment from the 19th century.
"Scotland's little gem" provided numerous evidence of its indisputably high quality - for example in the form of the popular Straight from the Cask series.
The attractive bottle contains everything that makes the hearts of connoisseurs beat faster: premium Whisky, invitingly rich colors, full-bodied aroma.

This matured for over ten years Single Malt Whisky in the small Highland distillery Edradour in a former Sherry Butt, distilled on September 28th, 2013, bottled with a very nice dark color on January 25th, 2024 on only 923 bottles.
Like all bottlings in the "Straight from the Cask" series, of course without chill filtration and without coloring!

Tasting Notes : This is what the Edradour 10 year old 2013/2024 "Straight from the Cask" Sherry Butt #476 tastes like

• Nose: ripe, dark berries, plus dark cherries, raisins and Figs - a slightly spicy aroma over everything
• Palate: soft and mouth-filling - the dark fruits and raisins again, then notes of forest honey, chocolate and toffee develop - floating over everything an elegant light spiciness
• Finish: long and pleasantly sweet in the finish, clearly the sherry and the chocolate
