The 100 Proof Edition has been closing a gap in the Signatory range since the beginning of 2024 . 57.1%vol. or 100 proof the minimum level at which gunpowder soaked in alcohol can be ignited. Signatory Vintage has been dedicating its own series to the historical unit since the beginning of 2024, in which high-proof quality whisky meets low prices.

A fresh Oloroso Sherry Butt sets the tone for the as a single malt rare Auchroisk 2010 100 Proof Edition #12.

Tasting Notes: This is how the Auchroisk 2010 100 Proof Edition #12 Signatory Vintage tastes like

  • Nose: ripe apricots and juicy raisins, plus spicy ginger and some vanilla 
  • Palate: fruity in taste with clear notes of ripe oranges, the raisins again - followed by spicy oak and fresh herbs
  • Finish: long in the finish - very buttery with pronounced notes of fresh pastry
