The independent bottler, blender and distillery builder based in Glasgow has called up eight spectacular heroes to start the series. Their superpowers? They consist exclusively of Single Casks or Small Batches, which have either been matured or refined in high-quality Sherry or Bourbon barrels.

At A Shriek in the Mist the name says it all: aged in the small Pedro Ximénez Sherry Octave, there are only 73 bottles of the Speysider in total . AAAH like Aberlour distilled the very limited single malt. His special skills include the balance between lightness and heaviness, which is expressed in salted caramel and honey muesli as well as summer BBQ and baked potatoes.
