In addition to the well-being of the planet, Nc'nean follows another path: innovative taste experiences. Inspired by its namesake, the Gaelic goddess Neachneohain, known as the huntress, Scotland's leading organic distillery hunts extraordinary flavors in the limited series Huntress.
 
The warming, homely aromas of Cherry marzipan cake, apricot jam, vanilla pudding and some peppermint tea from the Nc'nean Huntress 2024: Orchard Cobbler are included in the sense that the distillate used is only made once a year is.
 
Unlike most distilleries Nc'nean produces two different raw spirits every year: one for whiskey, the one in one younger age, and one for whiskey that should come onto the market after at least ten years.

The new Orchard Cobbler is based on a distillate from the distillation process in the week after this recipe was changed - a time in which the cut points are changed and unusually many fruity components >flow into the raw spirit. So fruity that the single malt was named after one of the team's favorite desserts.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Nc'Nean Huntress 2024 Orchard Cobbler tastes like

• Nose: initially fruity aromas of wild strawberries and raspberries, followed by some blackcurrants, then develop buttery toffee aromas and some vanilla - above all fresh herbs
• Palate: soft and harmonious - the fruits again, now clear toffee and caramel, the herbal tones are also more present
• Finish: harmonious and round in the finish - the fruits recede a little and make room for spicy notes
