From Islay over the Highlands to Speyside: New editions of the Small Batch Series take you through Scotland's most popular whisky regions. Designed exclusively for the German market, the series is based on Casks that deliver unadulterated experiences with an increased drinking strength of 48.2%vol. and ensure full-bodied enjoyment - Lush fruit notes from Oloroso Sherry Casks included.

Redesigned in 2023, this is the Small Batch Edition #9. The full-bodied Aberlour 12 year old 2012/2024 was distilled in the heart of Speyside and enjoyed 12 years of full maturation in casks pre-filled with Oloroso Sherry.

Tasting Notes: This is what the Aberlour 12 year old Small Batch Edition #9 Signatory tastes like

  • Nose: intense aromas of red berries and stone fruit, plus spicy heather honey and barley malt - in the background Scent of old books bound in leather
  • Palate: the stone fruit becomes more intense, especially cherries and plums are present - this is joined by sultanas and some white pepper
  • Finish: the fruits and honey are present in the finish - slightly malty
