Study the influence of wood on whisky and gently control it through careful cask management? Billy Walker has perfected this art over 50 years. With the Wood Collection, the industry veteran is now delivering new landmarks for his whisky craft. After refining in different sherry casks, three limited experiences will kick off the series in spring 2023. Neither chill-filtered nor colored and with an increased 48%vol. bottled, they speak for themselves. And at a good price level.

The bright, delicate Fino Sherry makes The GlenAllachie 9 year old Fino Sherry Cask Finish is a single malt bursting with orchard fruits, roasted almonds and vanilla.

Tasting Notes: This is how the GlenAllachie 9 year old Fino Sherry Cask Finish tastes like

  • Nose: Like a walk through an orchard - distinct aromas of ripe fruit paired with the scent of roasted almonds
  • Palate: soft and round in taste - pleasantly soft, the ripe fruit contributes to the harmonious taste, accompanied by notes of freshly cut vanilla pods and some ripe barley
  • Finish:long fruity finish - the ripe fruit and vanilla are present for a long time and carry the finish
