When the team around whisky luminary Billy Walker took over The GlenAllachie Distillery including filled barrels in 2017 and in brought back by Scottish hand, the Speyside distillery produced almost exclusively for the blending industry. This tide has quickly turned: GlenAllachie's standard range now consists of single malts that are at least eight years old. Their characteristic: The standards mature primarily in selected sherry casks.
 
Billy Walker is married to expertise that spans over half a century also hand-picked for Batch 4 Pedro Ximénez Sherry Puncheons. The result is a rich, luxurious single malt that coats the palate withdelicious chocolate truffles and dark cherries preserved in maraschino syrup.

Only 2,000 bottles were produced unadulterated with cask strength 51.5%vol. bottled.
