Once a small delicatessen, Gordon & MacPhail is now one of the international experts in the maturation of special Scotch whiskies. The selected distillates from renowned Scottish distilleries remain in the Casks for up to 80 years before the family business releases the connoisseur bottlings in various collections. One of them: Connoisseurs Choice.

From the series launched in 1968 by whisky visionary George Urquhart, Gordon & MacPhail  in spring 2024 two exclusive, cask-strong bottlings to Germany. 
Distilled on the Isle  of Mull, the Ledaig matured in 2001/2023 22 long years in one Refill Sherry Butt. At a still strong 57.7%vol. The islander combines Cask Strength with dates with salted lemons, butterscotch and hearty, spicy smoke.
