Ariki Black Rhum is a premium rum from Tahiti, a paradise located in the heart of the Pacific Ocean.
The Tahitians are still influenced by the vibrant culture and traditions of their Ma'ohi ancestors. Life in Tahiti is in perfect harmony with nature and is defined by Mana - a mythical and spiritual concept that reflects wisdom, divinity and beauty.
Thus the name Ariki - tribal chief - was chosen and based on it Bottle label shown because it symbolizes prestige and power.
The basis for Ariki Black Rhum is the locally harvested sweet juice of Otahiti sugar cane. The subsequent distillation of the molasses takes place in the column still and the rhum then matures in former bourbon barrels in the tropical climate of Tahiti before being distilled at 40% vol. is bottled.
The entire manufacturing process is carried out using the most modern technology underpinned by traditional craft distillation art.
