Portrait: What makes the Takamaka Dark Spiced special
Sandy beaches, coral reefs, giant turtles: The Seychelles archipelago consists of over 100 islands – located so hidden that it remained practically unknown for centuries. With Takamaka, the Trois Frères distillery provides a delicious insight into this remote paradise.
The first premium rum in the Seychelles has been produced by Richard and Bernard since 2002 d'Offay founded distillery on the main island of Mahé. Just 60 meters from the beach. For Takamaka Rum, the brothers use both fresh juice from Seychelles sugar cane and molasses. The ingredients are distilled in pot and column stills. Whether refined with our own mountain spring water, flavored with pieces of wood in an innovative process , refined with regional spices or bottled from individual barrels: Takamaka also ensures variety on the palate for rum fans and explorers.
The Takamaka Dark Spiced tastes great neat or in drinks, for which you can use the Takamaka Rum Blanc with, among other things, real vanilla, papaya and tropical spices refined.
