Portrait: What makes Rammstein Tequila special

Rammstein Tequila is produced in the Amatitán Valley, Mexico. The valley's microclimate is perfect for growing Blue Weber agaves, which are used to make this tequila. The agaves grow for 8-10 years before they are ready to harvest. The agaves are then cooked in “mamposterías” - traditional, hand-crafted ovens made from volcanic earth. All fermentation occurs spontaneously, i.e. H. no artificial yeast is used. A fermentation cycle can last between 72 and 96 hours.
The tequila is then distilled twice to achieve the best result in terms of quality and flavor profile.
Rammstein Tequila is aged for at least 8 months to give the spirit color and aroma to give body and character. Only the best medium-toasted oak Casks are used for maturation.
