A premium molasses-Rum from Venezuela.
This rum matures in former bourbon and single malt whisky casks, approx. 40% heavy distillates and approx. 60% light to medium distillates are used.

The Botucal Rum is versatile and can be used on can be enjoyed in different ways, whether neat, in cocktails or with desserts. The Destilerias Unidas brand uses fermented molasses and sugarcane honey to create the unique flavor and combines rum from pot and column stills to create a blend.

The rum has received several awards and is considered a must for private households and experienced bartenders. The Botucal Rum is also known abroad as "Ron Diplomatico", but is available in Germany as "Ron Botucal" and has an alcohol content of 40%.

  • Nose: fruity-sweet with slightly nutty aromas
  • Palate: rich in taste, ripe fruits, nuts again - spicy oak in the background
