Jameson Irish Whiskey
The classic from Jameson - a full-bodied and mild whiskey, triple distilled, as is traditional in Ireland.
- Nose: soft and floral with a slight sweetness of jam and fudge - fresh hay in the background
- Palate: full body with lots of fruit - apple and pear, plus vanilla and spicy notes
- Finish: medium-long, spicy finish with a present honey note
Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition
Triple distilled Jameson, which was initially stored in oak barrels, then in former stout beer barrels.
- Nose: fresh hay, slightly fruity with clear apple and peach, then becoming spicier - roasted coffee in the background
- Palate: soft and fruity in taste, fresh with notes of hops and cocoa - followed by marzipan and roasted oak
- Finish: long in the finish, slightly sweet with chocolate, butterscotch and some vanilla
Jameson Black Barrel
Jameson's successor to the Select Reserve matured in Double Charred First Fill exBourbon-Barrels - these are former bourbon barrels that are heavily burned out before filling in order to maintain a strong layer of carbon in the barrel.
- Nose: strong and fruity with tropical fruits, especially peach, guava and coconut, followed by fresh grain
- Palate: full and rich in taste with an exceptional creaminess - clearly dates and walnuts, again peaches and coconuts, with some cinnamon on top
- Finish: long finish - very fruity, the cinnamon is accompanied by nutmeg and some oak
