Proper No. Twelve is a “proper” Irish whiskey, as it should be. One for all. It was created by Conor McGregor, one of the world's most famous and successful mixed martial arts fighters. He grew up in Crumlin, Dublin's twelfth district, a traditional and proud working-class area. Here he learned what goes into a good, “proper” Irish whiskey. Proper No. Twelve is a homage to Conor's origins in name and nature: it combines the soul of Dublin and 100 percent Irish taste in a glass.
With Bushmills, the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, Conor McGregor has the best possible partner found. Together with Master Distiller David Elder, he worked tirelessly to make the dream of his own, traditional Irish whiskey come true. Finally, after almost a hundred blends, the two found the right drop.
Proper No. Twelve is triple distilled in copper pot stills. It then matures for 4 years in former bourbon barrels to preserve its full flavor.
